Full Job Description "Salus is growing again!
Salus is an award-winning multidisciplinary group of rehab professionals throughout the Sunshine State. Salus works exclusively within Assisted Living Facilities, providing industry-leading care as Senior Living specialists.
Salus has an immediate Part-Time Exercise Physiologist position available in Hillsborough County, FL. The position being offered is part-time with competitive compensation, 401k, and mileage expenses available.
Position Summary:
The Exercise Physiologist will be working in tandem with the ALF activity directors to plan, organize and program exercise classes at the communities. The exercise physiologist will also be appointed to administering the exercise classes as well as monthly educational talks within the communities. Must be willing to drive to multiple facilities a week.
Skills and Educational Requirements and/or Work Experience:
.Bachelors/Masters Degree in Health Sciences OR Bachelors/Master Degree in Exercise Sciences OR Bachelors/Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology
.Experience with sit to be fit and/or silver sneaker programs a plus but not required
.Excellent customer service skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal
.Excellent organizational skills"
