Full Job Description OPERATIONS ASSISTANT NEEDED IN LARGO, FL - GREAT TEMP-TO-PERM OPPORTUNITY!
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr.
Expectations:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer concerns & vendor-related issues
• Oversee scheduling & workflow between all aspects of the organization
• Monitor departmental needs; handle tasks, schedule appointments or assign responsibilities as necessary to ensure items are handled in a timely manner
• Ensure company is operating in a cost-effective, safe & appropriate manner to achieve all goals
• Work with all departments to identify areas of the company where changes can be made for greater efficiency / profitability
• Assist customers, orders, shipping or production when overflow help is needed
• Develop operational & safety procedures when necessary
• Aid administration team with any other tasks as needed
Purchasing & Inventory
• Work with all departments to project future needs to ensure adequate inventory levels of finished materials and items needed for manufacturing
• Manage company purchasing needs by corresponding with all departments, then purchasing materials for office, warehouse & production
• Conduct regular research and negotiations to ensure advantageous purchasing decisions
• Plan and run regular cycle counts & yearly inventory
• Experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Applications
