Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a fast growing tech start up company that is looking for a Training Program Specialist to join their growing training department. This person will be responsible for training new classes of Member Support Representatives; create training materials and evaluate performance while working closely with other departments to help improve training efforts. Ideal candidates will come from a background of teaching and/or training, thrive in a fast paced, start up environment and find value in being able to develop and implement. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a company that boasts a unique and revered culture. *This position requires you go on site
Responsibilities :
• Train and develop 10-20 new hire candidates on a weekly basis
• Assist in the creation of new training content
• Act as SME and answer all questions with accuracy
• Coordinate schedules, track attendance and performance
• Own escalations from customers on an as needed basis and for training purposes
• Take on various administrative functions as they relate to the role
• (Training for this role will take place in the DC area for 6 weeks)
Qualifications/Background Profile :
• 2 + years experience in a teaching or training role, experience in a corporate/business setting highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to take to technical material and make it digestible for others
• Demonstrated ability to coach and counsel as necessary
• Organized and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with various departments
• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite and MAC systems
• Bachelor's degree in Learning, Business, Education or related field
