Full Job Description Cayuse Government Services (CGS) is committed to excellence by providing innovative and flexible solutions to State, Municipal and Tribal government clients. CGS also provides mission-critical technology delivery as a shared service in our Oregon Technology Delivery Center, which also provides support to CGS' Federal Government clients. Core service areas for CGS include Information Technology Consulting & Integration Services, Centers of Excellence (CoE's), Document/Image Management & Processing, and Service Desk/Help Desk (L1, L2, L3, Deskside) Support Services.
SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our team in Tampa, FL on MacDill AFB.
• Previous administrative and secretarial experience preferred.
• Previous demonstrated expertise in Defense Travel System (or equivalent system) and travel scheduling.
• Solid working knowledge of office applications and systems: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and has the ability to schedule and set up teleconferences in accordance with command's policies.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), ability to draft correspondence on behalf of the CCCI Director, proofread documents, determine which messages, visitors, callers need to go directly to CCCI Director or can be redirected tactfully.
• Previous administrative and secretarial experience preferred.
• Previous demonstrated expertise in Defense Travel System (or equivalent system) and travel scheduling.
Ability to effectively collaborate as a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This assistant will liaise and maintain strong, effective communications with external and internal organizations and requires exceptional communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. This assistant serves as the initial interface with other CENTCOM staff directorates, external DoD organizations as well as numerous media reporters. Duties include:
• Assists the CCCI Director and Deputy in day to day activities, including the coordination of meetings
• Scheduling, including booking rooms, setting up teleconferences, preparation of materials and read- aheads
• Assists the CCCI Director and others with all travel planning, requires strong DTS knowledge and experience
• Responds to general inquires and forwarding inquires to various CCCI sections
• Prepares and manages correspondence; assist in the formatting, preparation and proof reading of internal and external documents
• Serves as an advisor to the CCCI Executive Officer and Senior Enlisted Leader on administration of staff procedures and operations affecting the CCCI Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous administrative and secretarial experience preferred.
• Previous demonstrated expertise in Defense Travel System (or equivalent system) and travel scheduling.
• Solid working knowledge of office applications and systems: MS
• Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and has the ability to schedule and set up teleconferences in accordance with command's policies.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Military experience is highly valuable.
• Previous administrative and secretarial experience preferred.
