Full Job Description American Expediting is looking for a quality focused individual for a dispatching / customer service position. Shifts will be 1400-2200
We are looking for a HIGHLY flexible person, and reliability will be a key asset in this positions.
We are looking for a individual that can work independently and still contribute to the team
You would need to be able to adapt to handling the city of responsibility, via computer/phone/email, during any given shift.
• This position includes entering orders for service, dispatching a driver, and making sure all deadlines are met according to customer requirements.
• Additional general light warehouse duties (pulling parts) may be required
Desirable abilities include being able to work in a fast paced, changing environment, the ability to be self - motivated and VERY flexible with hours.
A knowledge of logistics, and the ability to learn location based geography, would be extremely helpful.
If you DO NOT have extreme flexibility, reliability and the ability to work any schedule if possibly needed, this may not be a position for you
