Full Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team at the Corporate Distribution Center.
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate receives and prices merchandise, and supplies each location with the necessary merchandise. They help to organize the warehouse and maintain product in each of the stores.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Accurately tags merchandise
• Ensures that newly received product is stocked in appropriate warehouse location
• Completes store transfers accurately and packs to ensure product safety
• Folds apparel as required
• Delivers transfers to local airports using Company vehicle
• Organizes warehouse so that merchandise is readily accessible
• Maintains standards of cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
• Maintains accuracy of paperwork
• Follows loss prevention procedures
• Provides basic maintenance as assigned
• Collects and disposes of office, and warehouse trash
• Monitors and maintains proper inventory rotation and expiration dates
• Communicate overstock issues to Distribution Center Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills, able to navigate software after training
• Forklift experience with current certification
• Experience using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Responsible and reliable
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely
• Can meet FAA regulations for a security background check
