Currently, DeliverCareRx is searching for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to work in our pharmacy located in Tampa, Florida. This role is responsible for assisting in the processing, dispensing, and shipping of prescription medications to hospice patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• This position is ideal for those who love working in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail. Key elements of the role can include:
• Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate information.
• Provide daily support to pharmacists.
• Resolve customer issues, ensure accurate information is provided.
• Process refills and new prescriptions in a timely manner.
• Manage outbound/inbound faxes to physicians.
• Focus on quality assurance to correctly input physician orders and to prevent medication errors.
• Provide high-quality customer service to patients and caregivers over the phone.
• Utilize sound judgment to make appropriate decisions in the best interest of patients and the company.
• Restock and organize workstations to maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist with inventory management functions including, but not limited to cycle counts, inventory, receiving, and put away.
• Package and ship orders.
• Count and fill medication orders with 100% accuracy.
• Compound medications that are not commercially available.
• Prepare medications with special packaging requirements like bubble packing, pre-filled syringes.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Technician license.
• Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training course or a minimum of one year of on-the-job training preferred.
• Technician certification preferred (PTCB or ExCPT accepted).
