SUMMARY: Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support all production/facility equipment during normal operation, perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, and maintain facility in top condition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Routinely inspects and maintains building and installed systems including but not limited to packaging machinery, plumbing systems, coffee equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds.
• Performs minor and routine repairs including but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
• Maintains heating and air conditioning units for the facility.
• Assists with the installation and modification of building equipment systems.
• Creates and maintains up-to-date service and replacement data files for building equipment and machinery.
• Communicates need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment to appropriate manager.
• Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair.
• Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
• Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment of unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
• Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintains a clean, safe working environment.
• Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
• Prepares required reports and correspondence.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years or more related electrical experience along with pneumatic and hydraulic experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and industrial maintenance.
• Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and read electrical drawings.
• Ability to work at heights (if needed).

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

• PLC knowledge a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Bilingual skills a plus.
• Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Frequently required to walk or stand.
• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.

• Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
• Frequently required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds/ up to 25 pounds/ up to 50 pounds/ more than 50 pounds.
• Frequently work near moving mechanical parts and/or moderately loud noise exposure.
