This position is part of the Workforce Planning team that has been formed to lead Citi’s transformation efforts around staffing and skill adequacy of our risk and control functions and effective organization design. We are at a pivotal moment of redefinition across our franchise as we transform our risk and control environment, across the first, second and third lines of defense, to one that is stronger and simpler. This role sits under the Operational Excellence team of Workforce Planning and will oversee projects that drive the data and reporting strategy for the team.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent people leader with strong initiative, superior analytical skills, able to deal with ambiguity and multi-task, strong process and detail orientation, high degree of collaboration and influence and enjoys driving results and meeting established deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead data, analytics and reporting projects for the team
• Partner with Workforce Planning Staffing Capacity, Organizational Design & Effectiveness teams and other organizations to define data and reporting requirements
• Analyze data requirements to meet the business needs
• Implement strategic and tactical solutions to drive Workforce Planning analytics and reporting , deploy data management strategy and solutions globally
• Liaise with technology on identifying and rolling out technology solutions for success of the Workforce Planning function
• Produce/collaborate on reporting and analytics to support project milestones and monitor progress against key deliverables
Knowledge/Experience:
• Experience in designing and implementing business-driven IT strategy around data platforms
• High level of analytic capability; driving data driven decisioning through both reading and interpreting data as well as analyzing and building reports and presentations
• Able to define goals and metrics, develop actionable plans and manage work to achieve desired outcomes
• Possess a global mindset and demonstrated experience operating internationally across large, highly matrixed organizations
• Able to leverage interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders and partners
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs
• High tolerance for dealing with ambiguity and on-going change
• Ability and willingness to operate at strategic and tactical levels
• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Self-starter with high levels of resilience
Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS PowerPoint and Excel
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
Education:
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
