The ORM Program & Change Management lead will play an important strategic role in helping ensure projects and initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by strengthening employee adoption and usage. This role will oversee program management of ORM's book of work and provide focused effort on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The Program and Change Management lead will work to drive faster adoption of necessary changes by leveraging effective communication and reporting tools, without causing adverse impact to employees nor sacrificing their ability to deliver quality work. The Program & Change Management lead will drive the change sponsor agenda among the senior leaders. The Program & Change Management lead will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
Responsibilities
• Provides strategic direction for all program management activities, apply process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
• Drives implementation of program management initiatives across the ORM organization
• Identifies and analyzes risk mitigation tactics and manage anticipated resistance
• Manages key deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
• Drives organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities in partnership with HR
• Integrates program management activities into project plan
• Partners with other leaders in order to impact change across the organization.
• Understands key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and creates clear written presentations/communications
• Measures success metrics and monitors change progress
• Supports change management at the organizational level
• Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
• 15+ years experience in Financial Services.
• Program management and project planning experience.
• Strategic thinking and analytic skills. Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
• Able to translate data and metrics from across different constituencies in order to create clear and concise executive presentation materials.
• Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down business and/or functional silos to optimize results.
• Organizationally savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret. Pragmatic problem solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.
• Excellent active listening skills, ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and influence others to move toward a common vision or goal
• Forward looking with a holistic approach
• Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to work through a large, complex matrix organization; demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks.
• Critical thinker, self-motivated; comfortable working with ambiguity.
• Bachelors degree and managerial experience
