Our client, a global provider of information technology products and services, is seeking a Brand Consultant

Location: Remote
Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:

Strategic and creative brand consultancies. Developing and executing communication initiatives that build and position brands in the marketplace, with potential recruits as well as with employees. At least 10 years of experience in a similar role. Requires deep knowledge of brand marketing, creativity, and print, online, and video production knowledge. Solid conceptualization and creative development skills. Ability to write and edit copy desired. At least 10 years marketing experience preferred. An Undergraduate Degree in marketing or like kind field (e.g., communications, PR, advertising) or equivalent experience

Key responsibilities include:
  • Create visual systems and assets for both external and internal brand campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketers and strategists on brand visual projects, including the development of campaigns, global brand assets and brand visual guides
  • Revise and edit visual assets as needed
  • Support on additional brand visual projects and priority initiatives
Additional Information:   
  • You will use your skills to leverage brand as a strategic asset to building and supporting the business. This position is a centralized function and supports internal clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4-7 years in brand design or a related field, either client or agency-side
  • Previous brand design and vector illustration experience required
  • Deep knowledge of Adobe CC, with an emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint or Google Slides
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate briefs from brand strategists and marketers into creative concepts
  • Ability to develop very strong, original ideas under pressure and with quick turn around
  • Ability to explain, sell and defend ideas, while remaining open to feedback and constructive criticism
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-manage
  • Collaborative and diplomatic work style
  • B2B background or understanding of professional services business/environment preferred
