WHAT YOU WILL DO:
An exempt position that is responsible for the direct oversight of On-Call Support Specialists and Transportation Support Coordinator. Responsible for ensuring a coordinated response to children in foster care, without an identified permanent placement, who need transportation to/from school/daycare, supervision, and temporary placement. Responsible for ensuring a coordinated response to after-hours emergencies as they arise, including but not limited to children in need of medical care, youth whose placement is disrupted, and youth who are reported missing and recovered from missing status. This individual will work as a team member with Case Manager Supervisors, On-call Support Specialists, Family Support Specialists, Case Managers, Foster Parents, Residential Group Care facilities, and other appropriate professionals. The On-Call Team Supervisor will also provide transportation and supervision whenever necessary, and assist with de-escalation, intervention, and rapport building to stabilize youth, as necessary. Must be certified with the Florida Certification Board.
WHAT YOU NEED:
• Florida Certification Board Case Manager Certification (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (or related area of study) from an Accredited College or University. Related areas of study include bachelor’s or master’s degrees in criminology, psychology, sociology, counseling, special education, education, human development, child development, family development, marriage and family therapy, and nursing.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.
