**Description** The Doctor Call Queue Pharmacist will: * Provide resolution or outreach for a resolution on prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing the fulfillment of the request via electronic communication with the Doctor's office. * Check for completeness and accuracy of prescriptions * Interact with fellow health care team members virtually * Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy * Other duties as assigned by leadership **Responsibilities** The Doctor Call Queue Pharmacist will: + Be able to work independent and be self guided while maintaining the upmost quality and production. + Must feel comfortable with their clinical judgement and utilization of resources provided + Provide resolution or outreach for a resolution on prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing the fulfillment of the request + Check for completeness and accuracy of prescriptions + Interact with fellow health care team members virtually + Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy + Other duties as assigned by leadership Work hours Monday thru Friday, 8 hour shifts/40 hours a week. Hours range from 8am-6:30pm EST/7-5:30 MST and are subject to change yearly based off of department need. There is a potential for mandatory overtime at some portions of the year. PTO restrictions during blackout peak periods December through March. **Required Qualifications** + Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy + Licensed as a PHARMACIST in Arizona, Florida or Ohio + Reside in Arizona, Florida or Ohio + Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs + Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group + Comfortable with virtual communication **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving + Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive + Excellent communication skills + Proficient with computers and navigation of multiple computer based resources + 3+ years' experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment **Additional Information:** **The following policy applies ONLY to associates working in the state of Arizona:** + Humana is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment and to promoting the health and well-being of its associates.
