Full Job Description SUMMARY Serves end-users by installing and servicing systems and products.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION • Bachelor’s Degree
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to read, write and speak English.
• 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Advance computer skills
• Strong people skill; independent decision making and customer service oriented.
• Willing to drive from Tampa to Orlando on a bi-weekly basis as necessary.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES • MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP (preferred)
ABILITIES /SKILLS
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Versed in the following technologies:
• Windows XP/7/8/10
• Basic TCP/IP Networking (Switches, Routers, IP knowledge)
• Web technologies and browsers
• Domain Structure
• Printer setup and configuration
• Advanced computer skills to be able to recognize and understand our appointment system.
• Excellent communication, Customer Service, and telephone skills.
• Cheerful, pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional demeanor, must always display a smile.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
• Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a stressful environment.
• Strong sense of teamwork and be able to manage a high volume of interpersonal relationships with tact and diplomacy.
• Must be able to work independently and relate well with all levels of individuals within the organization.
• Able to respect and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Must be able to follow policies and procedures and work flexible schedule and location.
• Must be able to work with the Practice Management and/or Electronic Health Record System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Check the equipment every day.
• Be trained on various software and hardware systems
• Maintain work lists and ticket lists up to date.
• Check supplies for daily operation and order as needed.
• Advise the IT Management of any imminent threats or issues.
• Train end-users on software systems.
• Clean and keep IT inventory organized.
• Fill out technology and training forms.
• Conducts all activities in a polite, courteous, and professional manner and abides by company policies and procedures.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned.
