IT Vendor Manager
Apex Systems, the nation’s 2 nd largest IT staffing firm, has an opportunity for a IT Vendor Manager that is fully remote. This person will actively engage with internal cross functional teams as well as external partners.

Positions Day to Day Responsibilities
This role is supporting vendor management functions for the entire company.
• Limited amount of engagement from technical – internal
• Need initial relationship with vendor – recently (some long-term strategic partners) and a lot are new vendors with no history. Typically managing 10
Doing vendors consolidation and more targeting.
• MSA , DLP and order forms – legal agreements
• Commercial – PO invoicing and internal allocation
Tools:
ERP global rollout – 3 -5 years – home grown PO system – fairly mature/in-place
Invoicing and working with AP – work closely with corporate finance and general payment terms. And custom planning terms to accelerate
What are the top 3 MUST HAVE
• Prior procurement / IT vendor management (3-5 years)
• Legal - redlining contracts understanding contract negotiation
Establish a relationship with vendors supporting the technical team an as advocate for the entire Company.
• Create and maintain a competitive evaluation/selection/purchasing environment, whether real or artificial
• Communicate importance of BW’s acquisition related growth and overall technology adoption methodology
• Negotiation of pricing and terms that align with pre-defined approach/plan
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements – master agreements, data protection agreements, service level agreements, order forms, etc.
• Procurement Activities
• Vendor additions
• Purchase order processing
• Internal allocation models
• Invoice processing
