Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities • Performs audits by telephone to determine the true earned premiums due.
• Validates that correct classes are being applied and in accordance with company procedures by reviewing financial records and other relevant materials.
• Prepares voluntary audits to go out to insureds and monitors the return and completeness of incoming voluntary audits. Interacts with customers to answer questions and encourage the return of completed audits.
• Reviews results of audits with producers, underwriters, insureds, and Premium Audit leadership.
• Identifies opportunities to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepares management reports and other analysis regarding discrepancies in reported information by the insured.
• May utilize on-line service information, national business directory, and other tools to perform research.
• Provides effective Customer Service throughout the life cycle of Premium Audit functions.
• Maintains a working knowledge of rules and regulations applicable to jurisdictions and ensures correct and consistent application.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Field of Study: Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline. Experience: 6 months to 3 years of related experience. Associate's in Premium Audit Program (APA) certification preferred. Company:
