Full Job Description Immediate opening for Residential Assistant
Responsibilities include teaching activities of daily living and community integration activities. The successful candidate must have a minimum of one year experience working with special needs individuals, HS Diploma or GED (Required), successfully pass a Level 2 FBI background screen and have a valid Florida Driver License with a good driving record.
Duties
• Applicant must be dependable and have excellent documentation and computer skills.
• Assist clients in home with school assignments and communicate with school when needed.
• Assist clients with self advocating at physician appointments
• The ability to monitor and document mal adaptive behaviors when they occur.
• Must possess a sense of duty, a strong desire to help others, and a great deal of patience and compassion.
Other duties include but not limited to assisting clients in their daily personal tasks, such as bathing or dressing; providing basic health-related services according to a client's needs, such as administering medication at scheduled times; and doing light housekeeping, assist with activities of daily living (e.g. laundry, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, bathing and dressing when needed).

Mon - Fri and every other weekend

Overnight Shifts (Every Other Weekend)

Sat & Sun
• 12 Hr. Shifts
