We are continuing to impact the ever-changing space of technology. To support our vision in driving technological advances, we are currently seeking an Applications Architect who will serve as the key resource to guide the design and delivery of complex integrations involving backend API components.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and apply industry best practice technology, design and methodology approaches to implement system solutions to support business processes.
• Develop architecture models and technical standards to enable the transition of client's systems from current state to future requirements.
• Be aware of cross company integration trends in Legal Technology.
• Develop applications and custom integration solutions; solutions include enhancements and interfaces, functions and features.
• Provide guidance for IT policies, procedures, tools, security, and infrastructure.
• Devise strategies for leveraging current /future technology to best service our clients and internal stakeholders while ensuring Information Technology’s ability to support these initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross company leadership to determine business specific application needs.
• Articulate the architecture vision, modeling the data, application and technical architectures and application portfolio management.
• Recommend programming, development standards, procedures, and programming architectures for code reuse.
• Lead the application development team during design, testing and modification stages.
• Establish enterprise standards, strategies, and roadmaps.
• Assist in creating the vision for future state technologies and architecture aligned to the company’s strategic vision.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline. While an advanced degree is preferred, the value is placed on the extent of the relevant experience and accomplishments.
• 5+ years industry experience, in developing software platforms, products.
• Prior experience in native application architecture and deployment in cloud environments - Azure, AWS, GCP etc.
• Experience with API integrations, web services, and microservices
• Prior experience in leading architecture activities like designing, roadmap, & proof-of-concepts.
• Ability to lead multiple customers, complex projects, and multiple initiatives.
• Knowledge of object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging .NET or Java programs.
• Extensive experience in web-based mobile technologies like Microsoft .Net, ASP.NET Web API and complementary business layer and front-end technologies like AngularJs, ReactJs, NodeJS, etc.
• Understanding of Gateway management
• Ability to provide solid knowledge and skill regarding the integration of applications across business segments.
Preferred Experience & Attributes
• TOGAF or SEI - Software Architecture Certification etc.
• Experience working with Agile development processes.
• Mobile application development background
