Core service areas for CGS include Information Technology Consulting & Integration Services, Centers of Excellence (CoE's), Document/Image Management & Processing, and Service Desk/Help Desk (L1, L2, L3, Deskside) Support Services.
SUMMARY:
• Assessment Specialists: The Assessment Specialists serve a key role in shaping external communications through timely, thoughtful, and contextual analysis of media and social media interactions between CENTCOM and key audiences.
• Based on findings, Assessment Specialists recommend process improvements to maximize impacts in engagement and followership.
• Insightful, objective analysis can be instrumental in assisting and advising each CCCI section on the formulation of a communications approach and future goals for the directorate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Current Example: Print-outs of Daily Calendar, which outlines CCCI Dir./Dep. Dir/CC Chief of Staff and CC Commander schedule, as well as CCCI daily calendar, distributed to CCCI via email.
• Prepares and monitors daily calendars, and other administrative items from CCCI leadership awareness, including numerous daily changes and updates, booking conference rooms and setting up teleconferences, and submitting daily accountability to CENTCOM Personnel directorate.
• Tracks changes to daily calendar, recognizes, and corrects scheduling conflicts in support of CCCI leadership 100%. Communicates pertinent schedule changes to all applicable within CCCI and external offices 100%.
• Provides CCCI Director with all necessary and vital information (communication-dial in information and read ahead materials) for all meetings 100%.
• Booking conference rooms & teleconferences 100%. Daily accountability is accurate and submitted in a timely fashion. 100%.
• Prepares and manages correspondence; assists in the formatting, preparation and proof reading of internal and external documents.
• Coordinates travel and processes travel vouchers in accordance with established procedures.
• Current Examples: CCCI internal contact roster, which documents personnel telephone contacts and home addresses, CCCI internal office contact rosters and external PA rosters. Updates internal and external contact rosters
• Submits information to command group for internal rosters 100%. Updates contact rosters including components 100%.
• Current Example: Military Consolidated Rating Scheme and CCCI Admin Update Tracker, which tracks personnel arrivals and awards.
• Tracks appropriate personnel actions in accordance with established procedures. Tracks CCCI personnel actions and coordinates with external staff sections to ensure timely submission of personnel actions within established command deadlines 100%.
• Current Example: Military Consolidated Rating Scheme and CCCI Admin Update Tracker, which tracks personnel arrivals and awards. Tracks appropriate personnel actions in accordance with established procedures.
• Tracks CCCI personnel actions and coordinates with external staff sections to ensure timely submission of personnel actions within established command deadlines 100%.
• Current Example: Admin Records Management File Plan. Maintains records management file plan for CCCI Admin section and conducts records management for CCCI administrative records.
• Conducts records management for CCCI administrative files in accordance with command polices and directives - meets minimal required section standards during annual CENTCOM inspection.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree and/or commensurate experience
• Experience: 5+years related experience in the following:
- analysis of media and social media
- process improvements to maximize impacts in engagement and followership
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Experience in media communications, dissemination techniques and methods. Five years' experience preferred.
• Experience in analytical assessment of media and social media products, reception and impact. Five years' experience preferred.
• Ability to research, develop, and recommend courses of action for improvement based on assessment results.
• Knowledge of statistical and analytical tools, and how to leverage them to suggest improvements designed to expand engagement and followership
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) briefing, public affairs, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate as a team.
• Knowledge and experience in marketing a plus
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Military experience extremely helpful
• Experience in media communications, dissemination techniques and methods. Five years' experience preferred.
• Experience in analytical assessment of media and social media products, reception and impact. Five years' experience preferred.
