Full Job Description Responsibilities:
· Prepares and administers medications and treatments with knowledge of purpose and adverse effects of nursing care provided.
· Completes all documentation for observation, planning, and evaluation of care provided to residents, including orders by physicians.
· Functions in monitoring capacity as assigned for completion of resident’s care, employee guidance and discipline.
· Maintains open lines of communication between nursing shifts, as well as other departments, supervisor, physicians, and families of residents.
· Acts on resident’s behalf to assure individual rights and to prevent resident abuse and neglect.
· Acts on first aid knowledge in emergencies.
· Is aware of safety issues, accomplishing responsibilities in a safe manner, and reinforces good safety practices displayed by other staff members.
· Can maintain confidentiality of information.
· Works as a team member.
· Is able to perform the following physical activities: Kneeling, Stooping, Standing, Reaching, Pulling/Pushing, Walking, Grasping, Hearing, Talking, Sitting, Repetitive Motions.
· Currently licensed and in good standing in FL
· Should have their latest physical report with immunizations, lab work, and negative TB screening within the last 12 months
· Malpractice insurance if services is contracted
Qualifications:
· At least one year of experience is a plus
· CPR card
· Knowledge of IV therapy, and wound care
· Must be able to read and write effectively in English
· Will report to the Nurse Manager on any individual changes
· Will be able to utilize exceptional customer service skills when interacting with family members and/or vendors
· Must be able to perform clerical duties when required

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
