POSITION TITLE: DENTAL HYGIENIST- PART TIME
FSLA: NON- EXEMPT
Under the direct supervision of the Staff Dentist on site, incumbent is responsible for the dental hygienist services.
You Will Need:
• RDH Degree
• Current Florida License
• Able to work in harmony with other dental staff
• CPR required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Duties:
• Participation in a community based/school linked sealant program
• Assist in developing programs to increase access to preventive dental services in low-income populations
• Provide dental health education lesson plans at schools, community centers, etc.
• Placement of dental sealants
• Dental prophylaxis and polishing.
• Oral hygiene instructions
• Topical fluoride application
• Cleaning and sterilization of dental hygiene instruments
• Cleaning and maintenance of dental hygiene equipment and treatment areas
• Other duties as assigned
