Java Developer
Location : Tampa, FL
Duration : 12+ months
Lead Java developer with experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE based web applications with good skills in JavaScript for development of Risk and Finance dashboard application that provides sensitive data to senior management. Application involves business process workflow and analytical data, Web front end development using JavaScript. The candidate must have 5-7 years software development experience in Java with expert level skill set in Core Java, Spring, Web Services and J2EE. Should be able to design, review and suggest improvements, guide junior team members and deliver in an agile environment.
•Expert level knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Batch, RESTful Web services, design patterns and databases
•Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases and operating systems
•Experience developing high-performance multi-threaded applications
•Experience with working in Big data Eco system technologies. (Spark, Kafka) and MongoDB, Elastic.
•Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, JSON
•Thorough understanding of server side integration, Restful, Spring MVC, web services
•Good knowledge of design patterns and providing solutions to complex design issues, identify and fix code issues
•Participate and contribute in design, architectural solutions
•Experience with source code management tools such as Bitbucket
•Critically evaluate the current processing and recommend process efficiencies / enhancements
•Work closely with Technology partners to ensure the Business requirements are met by the development
