Description:
• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics or Science/Engineering.
• Expert-level SQL skills.
• Strong Computer Science Fundamentals. Data Structures, Algorithmic Complexity.
• Strong coding skills using Python.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Solutions. Azure, AWS(S3, Cloudformation, Identity and Access Management).
• Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake Query optimzation, Micropartitions, Clustering.
• Develop and optimize data models for Business Analytics.
• Manage incoming data requests and prioritize the highest value projects in an organized fashion.
• Manage Snowflake Data Exchange between HBC companies and partners.
• Manage Data Integrations in Cloud Environments.
• Use your master SQL skills to craft cutting edge data solutions.
• Punch through ambiguity and a growing level of complexity when it comes to our organization's data.
• Communicate data-backed findings to a diverse constituency of internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for the Snowflake platform governance, operations, and monitoring
• Architect Snowflake applications for the program
• Collaborate with the business units and data engineering teams for effective implementation of the new project
• Identify opportunities and execute the automation of the platform operations
• Knowledge on modernized ELT/ETL technologies and tools and setting up enterprise data lake
• Solid grasp of database engineering and design
• Monitoring health, tuning, and growth of such on premise and cloud databases
• Provides release management support for databases and related applications
• Ensures security and maintenance of databases; manage and monitor user access to the databases
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors; maintains schema and objects
• Knowledge of Python is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Snowflake DBA project experience.
