Athlete Development  Marketing Manager:  Run
The Rock n Roll Running Series puts the Fun in the Run for athletes of all abilities and across distances from 5k through the Marathon.   This role will work within the IRONMAN Group Athlete Development department team, with the goal of building the Rock n Roll Run Club Program and engage our local athlete communities around the world.
Purpose:
Run Clubs are the heart and soul of the Running Community.  The purpose of this position is to engage with the local running clubs and support them as they welcome new runners to our sport and to provide opportunities for their dedicated runners to continue to grow and challenge themselves.  This role will build the Rock n Roll Run Clubs Program to become a powerful part of the Rock N Roll Race Experience and a core part of the Rock n Roll Running Series race registration pathway.
• Develop and communicate a powerful set of benefits that can be accessed by run clubs as part of the Rock n Roll Run Club Program.   Year-round and event specific benefits for local run clubs will include digital experiences, event specific benefits and club competitions.
• Develop the key performance metrics for a successful, loyalty-based program for the Rock n Roll Running Series.
• Define a communication plan that will maintain a clear path of communication between our run club members and leaders and the Rock n Roll Running Series
• Work with the event operations team to implement event marketing support as it relates to the Run Club mission and program goals
• Participate in the preparation, management, and evaluation of all programming against the IRONMAN Athlete Development Department’s long-term strategic plan for running.
• Collaborate with the Rock n Roll Marketing team to develop and implement local marketing strategies through the creation and implementation of communications plans.
• Present regular updates and analysis to the team underscoring and identifying opportunities for local leadership to participate in networking and fundraising activities.
• With the Global Director of Coaching and Training, conduct bi-monthly working sessions local clubs to listen to and respond to the needs of our local running clubs.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks while maintaining a positive, team-centered attitude
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• 5 years work experience, preferably in digital education or sports / coaching
• Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Suite
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
