Production Supervisor Job Duties:
•
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead and direct safety program in accordance with company requirements.
• Maintain production objectives to meet or exceed customer demand and shipping goals while balancing production costs.
• Maintain or improve quality programs to assure conforming product.
• Coordinate and oversee training for stamping operations.
• Direct, assist, and evaluate associates.
• Monitor all inventory required for production and report discrepancies or requirements as needed.
• Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.
Production Supervisor Requirements:

• Safety: Must have an outstanding safety record and follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Provide safety training and meetings.
• Ensure that clean and safe work area is maintained.
• Report all injuries/accidents near misses immediately to supervisor or a member of management.
• Challenge and report associates who are creating unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure that all associates use equipment and materials properly.
• Quality: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Monitor own work to ensure quality. Apply feedback to improve performance.  Look for ways to improve and promote quality.
• Quantity: Meet productivity standards without diminishing quality of work. Strive to increase productivity.  Complete work in a timely manner.  Work at keeping waste down.
• Dependability: Take responsibility for own action. Commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. Willing to work overtime whenever necessary.  Keep commitments.  Follow instructions, respond to management directions.  Complete tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
• Initiative: Readily volunteers. Undertake self-development activities. Seek increased responsibilities.  Takes independent action.  Ask for and offer assistance whenever needed.  Look for and takes advantage of opportunities.

Production Supervisor Hours:
Business Hours 3:30 am to 2:15 pm, Monday through Friday
