Application Software Engineer

DUTIES:
• Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf software application or custom build technology software solutions to meet technical business needs.
• Contribute to the entire software implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Meet with business partners to understand technical business needs.
• Contribute to overall software solution design.
• Responsible for build and test of software applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis and complex performance tuning.
• Conduct Pega software development.
• Conduct Pega Software analysis.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related, and 2 years of relevant work experience.
• In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA); (2) Conducting Software Development using Pegasystems software; (3) Building healthcare process, service adapter for Business Process Management (BPM) services, and rules to be used by business process for Healthcare related software using Pega Platform and Rules engine; (4) Using Oracle and SQL Server to understand Pega database structures, perform schema copies, analyze user and system data stored in the database, and derive system health checks; and (5) Conducting software debugging using Pega Console and executing unit testing of the Pega Automation applications and components using Pega.

WORK HOURS:         Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]
