Kforce has a client in Temple Terrace, FL that is seeking an R Shiny Developer for an urgent 6 month contract. The R Shiny Developer will have frequent interaction with developers and end users, and will be primarily focusing on building analytical applications using R Shiny. The database sits on top of the Snowflake warehouse. The R Shiny Developer will walk into something that is set up but also may be built from scratch. That being said, the consultant will have help from the start.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience with R Shiny
• Database knowledge
• GitHub experience
• Cloud experience is nice to have
• Agile experience is nice to have
• Strong proficiency programming in R and Shiny (plus tidyverse, dbplyr, R markdown)
• Knowledge of common database architectures and methods for database interaction
• Experience writing SQL queries and using data visualization tools
• Experience with git-based version control
• Proficiency in full web stack development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, or similar)
• Experience with healthcare data
• Experience with cloud computing
• Experience in agile development environment
