VOLT seeks to add a self-motivated and driven member to our team in our Lutz, FL location. VOLT is a mid-level company with locations throughout the USA. We manufacture and distribute low-voltage Landscape lighting products. The Jr. Developer will assist the engineering team with all aspects of development.
Job Responsibilities include:
Build, test, debug and troubleshoot existing and new code. Modify existing code to add new features or improve/streamline existing features. Work with clients, partners, and the internal design & development team to help deploy the best application experience for our clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of PHP required (2+ years of proven experience).
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• JavaScript and associated libraries (Knock Out JS, jQuery)
• Familiarity with SQL databases.
• Knowledge of web-technologies such as HTML5, CSS3
• XML
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Magento Cloud/EE
• Experience with WordPress
• API integration
• Track record of successful eCommerce experience
• Email Marketing
• A strong desire to learn and grow
• NetSuite
Note: Candidates will be evaluated based on the PHP assessment. This assessment is an estimation of hands-on knowledge of the candidate which requires mandatory submission to be considered for the aforementioned position.
