Position Highlights: The Team Lead will manage, direct, and supervisor the Documentation Integrity area. The Team Lead assures timely and accurate receipt of transcribed documents and manages the process of importing, editing, and correcting transcribed and EMR reports Accountable for timely response to physician message queues and pended queues and pended for the EMR Documentation Specialists. Coordinates and supports timely, accurate, and organized distribution of transcribed reports to the appropriate areas within the Health Information Management Department, nursing units, and/or doctors# offices. Troubleshoots unusual circumstances to maintain timely health information flow. Reports summary statistics as directed. Responsible for maintaining the QS report.# Monitors work volumes, addressing workloads to maintain sufficient volumes for all QC staff Responsibilities: Problem solving issues related to EMR Documentation Specialists and the tasks they perform. Training of QC staff; performs QA Review audits on the QC staff. Performs adminstrative functions to assist manager in assuring the Department meets regulatory and facility guidelines and requirements and operates efficiently. Maintains QS report, including research and communicating with providers, for coding purposes Completing EMR corrections, manuals/instructions, pending queues, scheduling Attending meetings, maintaining workflow, research. # #Credentials and Qualifications: ######### High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate#s degree is preferred ######### Minimum of three (3) year experience in a Health Information Management dept ######### Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) is preferred Experience in Analysis process, Joint Commission Requirements and HIPAA Laws Experience with Cerner software and Soarian preferred
