Global Financial Firm located in Tampa, FL has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Application Support.
Primary skills/experience
• must be HANDS ON – Jack of all trades, master of none
• Production support background is the primary role
• SQL
• Unix
• Filestacks
• Should be able to write SQL queries, shellscripts, etc.
• Should have knowledge of Java API/ Microservices
Should have IBM MQ support knowledge and be familiar with troubleshooting
Should be familiar with supporting Cloud/ Container based applications such as Amazon ECS
Should have hands on knowledge of Autosys – running and managing jobs
Requires some familiarity with a monitoring solution, preferably AppDynamics
• Manage batches, users, troubleshooting, etc. NO CODING
Candidate will be supporting Compliance technologies portfolios – a background in compliance/regulatory will be considered over other experience.

200+ applications – 20-30 applications within each portfolio
• Must be technically strong and work well within team setting and/or lead production investigations
Must be a self-starter, able to run with projects or tasks
• drive/build knowledge base at Client
• Clear and Solid communicator
• Work well under pressure, thick skinned.
• 24/7 operation, may occasionally be asked to log in late a night or a weekend - very rare, but should not pose an issue.
