As Senior Programmer Analyst, you will develop and support Middleware Solutions that will aid in production planning, efficiency reporting, and quality assurance used globally for Welbilt Middleware.  This will be accomplished by integrating ERP systems with 3rd party applications, leading .NET technologies and developing data capture systems to record events that displays near real time production efficiency at work centers and at the corporate level.  The position is also responsible for laying out the strategy and roadmap to maintaining commonality between sites via corporate resources. The position will manage relationships with other Welbilt Development teams including PRMS, Oracle, QAD, and external vendors.
Reporting directly to the Manager Information Technology, this position is based in New Port Richey, FL or Tampa, FL or may work remotely.
Major Accountability:
• Development and Operations support of Middleware Solutions.
• Coordinate work content with other Welbilt IT support groups (Desktop, Infrastructure, and ERP).
• Create Middleware application support documentation (System design and troubleshooting).
• Maintain consistency across facilities global multi-level teams
• Ensure alignment with business leadership
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Develop applications that meets business requirements utilizing define development standards and methodologies
• Provide Middleware IT and/or end user support as a subject matter expert
• Assist with the installation and upgrades of applications and related products; install supporting products; provide current, stable production and development environments
• Provide leadership while also participating as a team member, ability to socially interact with people effectively, and to manage conflicts in a positive way.
Ensure full team adherence with company policies, sox, change control, PMO best
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or related major is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with application development, design and maintenance, preferably with .NET Middleware is required. Will consider a minimum of 12 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Fluent application development skills in C Sharp, VB.Net, .NET Middleware technologies, Web API, .NET Core and MS SQL Server stack.
• Sound knowledge of data connectivity to Oracle, Progress, DB2 and SQL Server
• Sound knowledge of ETL and Dashboarding techniques/technologies.
• Awareness of ERP systems and usage in Industrial manufacturing facilities
• Sound knowledge of MS products, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, Project Web App/MS Project, (Power BI, Teams….)
• Able to manage major projects and coordinate activities with multiple individuals/teams
• Ability to juggle multiple projects & tasks
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with IT personnel and Business users
• Ability to work in a virtual team with remote resources
• Working conditions: Typical office environment: Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate global time zones, as necessary.
• Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time – required.
