Are you a litigation paralegal with insurance defense experience interested in a full-time, opportunity with a well-respected law firm in Tampa, Florida? Ideal candidates will have solid experience with medical terminology, as you will be expected to create concise medical summaries from complex medical records. If you are a skilled and efficient insurance defense paralegal who exhibits high attention to detail and who remains calm under pressure, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities
• Review and draft routine legal documents
• Create and maintain case files
• Assisting with trial preparation
• Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
• Conduct legal research
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 1+ years of insurance defense experience, preferably in first party property
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
• Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate a plus
