The Director of Diagnostic Imaging demonstrates twenty four hour responsibility and accountability for practice, and quality of care and services within the Imaging Department.  Ensures provision of quality services by maintaining appropriate resources, staffing levels, competency of staff, physical space,  maintenance/and performance of equipment, instrumentation calibration, and training and education of staff.
Memorial has been providing comprehensive healthcare services for residents of south Tampa for more than 40 years.  Conveniently located near downtown Tampa, the 384-bed acute care hospital features two Tampa campuses providing 24-hour emergency care, behavioral health, cardiovascular services, general surgery and imaging and diagnostic services.
Specialized services include a new Surgical Center featuring the robotic systems, a multiphase expansion to include new private patient rooms, an accredited Diagnostic Sleep Lab, Florida Bariatric Centers, behavioral health, 3D mammography, Health 4 Seniors, inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation services, orthopedics, women’s health and wound and hyperbaric medicine.

Education:
Completion  of a 24-month AMA approved School or Radiology Technology
Experience:
Three (3) years previous experience as Radiology Tech
Three (3) years previous supervisory experience as a Asst. Director Radiology or Director.
License/Registration:
Current  Radiology Technologist license in the State of Florida
Certifications:
ARRT
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
