Job Summary:
The Logistics Systems Data Specialist is aligned to the National Logistics team. This role requires a high level of collaboration, the ability to navigate systems, analyze and translate data, effectively communicate with all levels, and lead projects. Primary responsibilities include interfacing with various cross-functional stakeholders, especially regional ground logistics teams, to ensure client and route data in the Logistics System (Pathfinder) is accurate and complete, propose actionable solutions, and drive sustainable implementation and change initiatives, leading to improved LOC/Dispatch operations and optimal client service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Generate reports, analyze data, and present findings to regional ground logistics to improve Dispatcher Quality, Productivity and Customer Service.
· Maintains and ensures data accuracy within systems, especially regarding regional operations and client data
· Collaborates with and communicates across ground Logistics teams to identify opportunities, improve data quality, and optimize operations. Deliverables include, but is not limited to: Reducing frequent client call-ins, reducing rejected pickups, improving route selection, identifying improvements related to habitual will calls rejections, optimizing routes for weekend and holiday clients assignments, and standardizing terminology and route naming conventions
· Interfaces with laboratory leaders to verify Stat test list is current and edit as needed
· Achieve individual and LOC goals to improve department Quality and Productivity
· Strong attention to detail and adherence to process and procedure.
· Well organized, prioritizes work, achieves deadlines, and handles multiple projects and objectives at one time
· Actively listens to identify internal client needs and objectively identifies solutions based upon best practices and standardization
· Maintains professional with multiple stakeholders at all levels
· Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
· Excellent computer skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products (Word, Outlook), with exceptional knowledge of Excel and/or Access
· Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning information and data received
· May include other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Education Preferred:
· High School Diploma or GED Required
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
Work Experience:
· 5+ years of Logistics experience required
· 2+ years Data Analytics experience Required
· 2 years Logistics Systems (Pathfinder/Ortec) required
· Route Optimization experience preferred
· Knowledge of Quest Diagnostics logistics processes preferred
