Maintenance Technician (PT)
Cohen-Esrey Communities (CEC) is currently seeking a Part-time Maintenance Technician to support and maintain Customer Fulfillment initiatives as they relate to the physical upkeep and maintenance needs at Owensboro Historic Residences in Owensboro, KY .

• Creating and maintaining good working relationships with Cohen-Esrey leaders and team members
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and appearance on the job and projecting this professionalism to all team members, residents, owners, vendors and subcontractors
• Participating in building a highly-capable and motivated property management team and helping to create a positive environment in which to work and provide a great service
• Encouraging other team members to accomplish reachable, but challenging, goals
• Demonstrating that safety is a top priority and completing safety training courses in a timely manner
• Receiving and implementing training to stay abreast of new practices and procedures
Maintenance Technician
• Keeping safety as a high priority, implementing safety principles taught in continuing education and complying with safety regulations to create a safe work environment
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and ensuring the proper care of tools and other equipment
• Keeping constantly aware of the condition of the property and immediately initiating action to correct unsafe conditions and to maintain all elements of the property
• Maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and superior curb appeal at all times
• Responding to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and completing all requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting in inspecting and coordinating all make ready repairs and services
• Assisting in monitoring and controlling maintenance inventory and supplies and implementing cost saving measures
• Participating as an integral part of the maintenance team in timely snow removal and ice-melt application efforts
Customer Care Specialist
• Taking actions to ensure residents’ safety on the property
• Listening to residents’ requests and concerns in a calm and open manner
• Being respectful of residents’ privacy
• Providing prompt, courteous and clear communication with residents, team members, owners and vendors
• Attending and assisting in resident activities and functions whenever possible
Basic qualifications include:
• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of Maintenance Experience.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Valid Driver's License
Preferred qualifications include:
• Proven 2+ years of HVAC experience
• HVAC Certified
