Full Job Description Are you experienced in homeowner property claims and interested in a fully remote position? Join the Preferred Repair Network Team, as we are in need of a Managed Repair Expert!
A Managed Repair Expert is responsible for attending to the daily needs of insurance carriers, vendors, and customers in order to provide excellent service through accurate communication and precisely managing the workflow of the claim.
The right candidate for this job should have the following skillset:
• An understanding of the claims process, structure damage, personal property damage, ALE, tarping, emergency service, water mitigation, catastrophe damage, and different types of claim perils.
• Ability to effectively communicate to vendors, adjusters, customers as well as agents regarding claim status updates, payment status updates, workmanship issues, and issue resolution.
• Effectively make outbound calls to follow up on documentation, to request status updates, and to help bring claims to closure.
• Kindly receive inbound calls and properly determine the next steps.
• Must excel in both written and verbal communication and be able to note files to effectively record the history of the claim throughout the process.
• Be proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Google Chrome/Firefox/Etc.
• Have the ability to work in a fast environment where processes can change quickly.
• Having an understanding of XactAnalysis, claims management software, adjuster experience, or related field experience is a plus.
• IICRC ASD (Applied Structural Drying) Certification.
• IICRC WRT (Water Damage Restoration) Certification.
• 3+ years of experience adjusting, mitigation, and/or restoration.
