Full Job Description American Metals Supply Inc is looking for a Full-Time Accounting Clerk for our Tampa location. The Accounting Clerk’s main responsibility will be the Invoicing of Will Call billings. The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities and qualifications:
Responsibilities
• Match Pick Tickets with Invoices and notate any discrepancies
• Assist Credit Administrators with clerical needs to include taking payments by phone
• Responsible for filing daily Invoices
• Prepare daily deposits
• Process RMA’s
• Assists with semi-annual Physical Inventory and annual document retention
• Enter Inventory adjustments
• Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• Prefer 1 or more years of accounting/billing experience
• Good Math skills
• Ability to carry out oral and written instructions
• Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to learn our company/industry software and products
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience working in a busy office environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail
Hours for this position will be Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00pm.
Background check and drug screen required.
