Position Description:

Job Title: Finance Analyst / Professional 2
Location: Gibsonton, FL, 33534
Duration: 10 Months, potential to go permanent
Schedule: 8am-5pm
Description:
•   Project support: act as the primary lead in developing an operations financial controlling reporting process to include department and area financial scorecards, and spending control mechanisms for key cost elements.
•   Must have very strong skills in advanced Microsoft Excel functionality, and past experience in large organizations with performance controlling systems.
•   Must be proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint.
•   Should have past experience working in an accounting or financial role.
•   It will be necessary to work closely with others to collaborate in the design, execution, and implementation of the system.
•   Experience with SAP-CO is preferred.
Candidate will be reporting to the CFO.
Job Description:
•   Solid understanding of IFRS and good knowledge of Client accounting standards and procedures (e.g.
•   Client Reporting Guidelines, ESPRIT, etc.).
•   Strong knowledge of balance sheet and P/L.
•   Establishes and reviews costs for the organization''s processes and manufacturing activities and products.
•   Develops, models and manages AAC’s budgets and/or business plans.
•   Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and assets.
•   Prepares forecasts and variance analysis.
•   Supports the monthly financial closing process and prepares monthly financial statements.
•   Prepares/reviews monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
•   Prepares/reviews daily and monthly accounting transactions including accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and journal entries.
•   Prepares reports required by management and regulatory agencies.
•   Supports preparation of board meetings.
•   Supports all accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of all recordkeeping and compliance with IFRS and RIC requirements.
•   Assist Internal and External Audit.
•   Good knowledge of FI/CO transactions and procedures in SAP ERP: o FI: General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banks, closing activities o CO: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Material Costing.
Education and/or Experience:
•   Bachelor''s degree (B. S.) in related discipline (e.g. Finance, Business or Accounting) or equivalent.
•   5+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of.
•   Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above including cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, financial accounting, knowledge of IFRS/ GAAP, knowledge of purchasing, inventory and manufacturing practices as related to accounting.
•   Excellent knowledge and experience of MS office such as excel, word and Power Point Unrestricted.
•   SAP - OneP/ ERP experience is a plus.
•   Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
•   Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
•   Process improvement minded and take ownership of work and process.
