Full Job Description Industrial Hygienist
Pure Air Control Services is a leading scientific environmental consulting firm providing a broad range of technical services to both public and private sector clients.
Pure Air Control Services is seeking candidates for its Building Sciences Division in Clearwater, FL.
The successful candidate will have 3 - 7 years of experience in assessing the indoor air environments and relative mechanical (HVAC) experience.
Typical responsibilities may include performing, indoor air quality assesments for biological agents, mold assessments, abatement monitoring, client management and report writing. Secondary tasks could include health and safety compliance assessments, program development and implementation, and training.
Travel is required (1-5 day) trips, although longer stays may be periodically requested. Overtime, nighttime work, and weekend work may also be occasionally requested
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Primary duty will be to serve as a field industrial hygienist for indoor environmental investigations including air quality (IAQ) investigations and assessment of biological agents
• Manage and perform site test and evaluation procedures in commercial and industrial facilities regarding various pollutants.
• Measure common IAQ Parameters
• Perform Quality Assurance Operatons, HVAC Assessments and management reports
• Prepare field reports (e.g., investigation summaries) summarizing analytical results and generate appropriate documentation in accordance with client-specific requirements.
• This position is an integral part of Building Sciences Department and requires a diverse array of duties and responsibilities in order to accomplish the objectives of the department.
Qualifications
• Experience in Indoor Air Quality field assessments and/or mechanical (HVAC) related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient writing and verbal communication skills
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Able to travel at least 50% of time
Pay scale will be based upon level of experience, qualifications and abilities.
