NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our client’s team in Tampa , Florida . This is a permanent position.
Responsibilities May Include :
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
Qualifications :
• 5+ years of experience in Core Java & SQL
• At least 3 years experience in Java EE or Spring
• Experience with any of the following:
• Linux
• Relational Databases (Oracle, MySQL/Maria DB, or PostgreSQL)
• Version Control (Subversion/SVN, Git, Mercurial, or TFS)
• SOA – Web Services (SOAP, RESTful HTTP, or RPC)
• Agile development (Scrum)
• Continuous Integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, or TeamCity)
• Application Servers (JBoss/WildFly, GlassFish, Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic)
