Full Job Description Looking for an Opportunity to join GTE Financial in a Product Promotion Specialist role?
GTE Financial is looking for a creative individual to lead campaigns and strategies to coordinate marketing events/ communications to join as a Product Promotion Specialist . The Product Promotion Specialist is a multi-faceted role requiring the ability to quickly adapt from direct sales to promoter to an internal trainer, and back-office marketing support for CUSOs which offer various products. Using diverse tactics, the position markets the products and services of our various CUSOs to GTE employees, GTE members, and non-members.
The Product Promotion Specialist is an integral link in the business relationship that is created for our CUSOs between our clients, insurance companies, and/or the vendors we work with. The Product Promotion Specialist creates revenue from the sale of our products and promotes our company/products directly and indirectly to vendors and the end consumer. This position consists of both back-office administration and sales/presenting to individuals and/or groups of people in various settings.
What does GTE look for in a Product Promotion Specialist?
Marketing:
• Develop and execute diverse marketing campaigns and strategies for the various CUSOs products that increase gross revenue.
• Direct to member sales of various CUSO products.
• Manages the development of campaign strategies and tactics to drive traffic and sales growth.
• Schedules, prepares and presents high-energy/professional events, sales, trainings, and seminars with internal and external sources to market our insurance products on a consistent basis.
• Communicates with clients, insurance companies, vendors, and other financial institutions.
• Develops strong, trusting relationships between clients, agency partners, and vendors while providing leadership and support during strategy and execution.
• Project management and coordination of marketing activities, including developing a marketing calendar.
• Campaign analysis and reporting for multiple departments; provide insights and action steps to improve referrals month over month or campaign to campaign.
• Acts as internal and external brand resource, maintaining brand equity, and brand pillars throughout the CUSOs.
• Maintain open and consistent dialogue with internal team on referral status, goals, and evolving services.
• Ability to create status reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals is required.
• Works with the internal Talent department on various CUSO training initiatives including NEO and lending product training.
• High level of understanding our products and offerings along with how to market them to our membership.
• Displays keen ability for both mass communications and interpersonal discussions.
• Tracks and prepares reports on sales and marketing efforts to d evelops unique strategies and builds upon current strategies to meet/exceed objectives.
Operations:
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Contributes to a positive teamwork environment which encourages team commitment to corporate, division, and departmental goals.
• Great verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact professionally and effectively with co-workers, all state, managerial and executive staff, members, the board, vendors and government regulators.
• Ensures the confidentiality of all information and transactions regarding CUIS, the Credit Union, its members, and its employees are held to the highest level of business ethics.
• Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience or combination of education and experience preferred.
• Insurance License 440 a plus.
Position Details:
• Location: Downtown Tampa – GTE Headquarters
• Department Hours: Monday– Friday (8:00 am to 6:00 pm) // Saturday
Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.
