Job Summary
Reporting to the Partner Services Manager, this position is held within the Global Partnership North America Department. The Partner Services Coordinator will be an integral part of the IRONMAN Global Partnerships team, responsible for coordinating a portfolio of commercial partners ensuring all areas of the commercial partnership agreement are met, and the partnership is developed so that it adds value to both the partner and the IRONMAN Group through upselling opportunities. This will include working with Marketing departments to help deliver partner digital assets, supporting partners on strategic goals and objectives and the delivery of activation assets on site at IRONMAN races.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Be the key point of contact for IRONMAN VIK & Event level Partners with the purpose of managing their sponsorship assets and understanding their business.
• Schedule regular status calls and face to face meetings, based upon account size – to ensure ongoing communication and account management.
• Attend races, including weekends, to oversee on site activation and delivery of sponsorship
• Support the Partnership Account Manager in delivering of post-race reports including media summaries both internally and to partners
• Work with other Team members within the following areas: Activations, Operations, Athlete Services and Marketing
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure contract compliance and client satisfaction
• Maintain internal processes required for monitoring and documenting sponsor accounts
• Additional duties to be assigned as business needs arise
. Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills
• Highly motivated
• Must understand and have a strong interest in event management in the sports industry
• A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a hands-on approach
• Strong attention to detail
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to think quickly, strategically and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of Microsoft office applications
• Must be able to travel as needed basis to visit accounts and attend IRONMAN races.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with client stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing and experience in leading impactful digital campaigns
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision
• Ability to synthesize and summarize set of facts and opportunities within a broader strategic context.
• Must be able to travel on an as needed basis to visit accounts and attend WTC and RnR events.
• Clear and conceptual thinking ability is a plus.
• Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required.
• Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
• Recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional atmosphere for employees, clients and customers.
