Thewill be responsible for supporting process improvement and development of scenarios to deliver a strategic plan that utilizes the necessary resources designed to effectively and efficiently service Coke Florida customers. TheLogistics Planning Specialist will deliver analysis, scenarios and actionable data to improve the dispatch systems overall effectiveness that delivers the balance of customer service and cost to serve.
Role Responsibilities
• Create "one" consensus forecast, an agreed upon single source of truth to which all are accountable enable though cross functional team input, technology and business insights
• Manage integrated business processes of planning to effectively deliver desired customer value propositions
• Enable execution of segmented customer and consumer service models with effective program design
• Allocate resource to optimize Coke Florida's business outcomes, while managing trade-offs and investment decision
• PGM and Planning to support Coke Florida in making its next best decision with end to end thinking deliver disciplined and sustained profitable growth
• Lead systematic processes to provide insightful analytics, and reporting to support Coke Florida's strategies
• Leverage latest technologies to provide consistent and meaningful reporting and analytics.Be the subject matter expert on the utilization of the systems and tools that supports our planning and dispatching processes.
• Support the systems and tools that enable optimization of planning and dispatching such as LEO and Easitrax
• Perform weekly audits and analysis around dispatch effectiveness to enable the development of shared learnings.Using scenario building to driver improved complete solution dispatching. Ability to evaluate situations, apply critical thinking in assessment of gaps and recommend options to resolve
• Ongoing review Planning tool settings that are necessary drivers to the planning process and communicate changes to key stakeholders while adhering to customer needs
• Proactively engage with Sr. Manager of Field Logistics and Director to identify areas of opportunity in the processes and workflows for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the tool set such asCONA SAP, LEO, Easitrax and other dispatch systems utilized to create dispatch plans
• Support all related integrated planning departments and or other assigned projects
• As needed, maybe asked to perform logistics planning and dispatching activities as needed to maintain knowledge of systems use
• Support Sr. Manager of Field Logistics in training of Logistics Dispatchers withupdated business processes and routines
Role Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering disciplines OR equivalent business experience with proven business & people leadership
• Minimum 3 years previous planning experience preferred.
• 3+ years of proven experience in analytics roles required
• Competent in solving complex problems through data and analytics, providing insights that are logical, data driven and simple to understand aligned to business goals.
• Experience Ortec & Easitrax or similar tools of planning & dispatch systems highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and business processes improvement
• Strong self-motivation to improve capabilities of self and others through various means of learning methods
• Able to navigate through complex business processes with understanding of upstream and downstream implications
• Strong business acumen
• Able to leverage & use toolsets such as SAP, Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven cross functional team collaboration at all levels
• Must be willing to travel 5% to 10% of the time.
