The Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will serve as a key member of the Fanatics Brands financial leadership team, with ownership of the division financial model, leadership in the development of financial narrative for Brands leadership and the Fanatics CEO and CFO, driving the usage and reporting of financial and operational KPIs, and providing leadership in planning, reporting, forecast accuracy and alignment between finance and operational segment leaders. This position reports to the CFO of Fanatics Brands.
Responsibilities: • Primary ownership of reporting for the Brands Leadership team, including financial narrative development, in-depth understanding of business drivers, and establishing best in class data packages for internal and external consumption
• Ownership and innovation of the Global Fanatics Brands forecasting model, including consolidations, scenario planning, reporting, variance analyses, etc.
• Establish and adapt the Forecast, Budget and LRP calendars to streamline the forecast process, increase forecast accuracy, align across various teams and stakeholders and enable meaningful forecast reviews with leadership
• Support Fanatics Corporate FP&A, with a focus on developing the set of data packages used by leadership on a quarterly basis and partnering on creating commentary and talking points to be used externally
• Develop and maintain internally and externally communicated KPIs, including associated research, comparable company analyses, consolidation, data visualization and packaging
Qualifications: • Extensive experience with presentations to senior management, with extraordinary detail orientation and strong data visualization skills
• Deep experience with financial models and accounting concepts
• Experience with financial planning systems such as Anaplan
• Expert skills with Microsoft Excel
• Adaptability and innovation with an eye for developing processes that align across multiple groups and stakeholders
• 10+ years of finance management experience with progressively increasing responsibilities; public, multinational company experience preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field
