Full Job Description East Side Animal Hospital is a family-owned, two doctor small animal practice looking for a full-time Veterinary Kennel Assistant to join our team. This position requires a person who is compassionate, enthusiastic, and highly motivated.
The general duties of the Veterinary Kennel Assistant consist of, but are not limited to, the following: general cleaning of the clinic, caring for boarding and hospitalized animals, feeding, walking dogs and assisting the doctor and veterinary technician. Must love dogs and cats and be able to work in a physically demanding, fast paced environment.
Hours would range between 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday with weekend rotations. Salary is dependent upon experience and performance but would start at or near minimum wage. Benefits include 7 paid personal days, clothing allowance and discounted veterinary care for any personal pets.
