SUMMARY:
Under basic supervision, this position is responsible for maintaining the Firm's computer and storage systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide day-to-day operational and end user support of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access), Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of operational documentation.
• Perform root cause analysis of problems to identify problem trends and possible resolutions.
• Mentor and train Technical Support personnel to enhance support capabilities.
• Provide assistance as required in the configuration and installation of desktop and laptop systems, monitors, printers, and scanners.
• Provide basic TCP/IP protocol troubleshooting for workstations, laptops and printers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• None required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Associate’s degree in related technology field or two years of related working experience in the information technology environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Must have working knowledge of at least one of the following environments: Windows Desktop, Windows Server, UNIX, HP Server Architecture or SAN storage.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:
• Any certification is a plus. Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or A+ Certification is preferred.
