The Accounting Manager would be responsible for the accounting operations including financial reporting, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to minimize risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with GAAP. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Additional Duties may be assigned
• Oversee the entire monthly closing to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements monthly, evaluate data, review inconsistencies and advise management of any deficiencies or anomalies
• Prepare and enter month-end journal entries
• Perform month balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage and Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annual internal financial reports
• Preparation of monthly supporting schedules of financial statement preparation
• Oversee and direct the daily accounting operations of the organization
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures with respect to Revenue and Cost Recognition
• Prepare regular and special reports for executive management
• Provide suggested opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction within the company
• Assist in the development or improvement of internal controls and corporate procedures
• Manage and lead process change and improvements
