JOB SUMMARY:
The Residential Clothing Clerk monitors and maintains clothing needs for residential service recipients of the organization.
CLIENT SUPPORT FUNCTION:
The Residential Clothing Clerk supports the mission of WF through effective clothing management to ensure continued access to a wide range of clothing by service recipients of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
• High school diploma or G.E.D required.
• Ability to drive organization vehicles, including possession of valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
• Must have the ability to learn and work with computers and computer software programs.
• Must be safety conscious.
• Possesses good people skills and a willingness to work with others.
• Must possess ability to understand and follow written and oral directions and instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple math skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Functions:
1. Understands the organization’s mission and values statement.
2. Knowledge of service recipient’s rights, confidentiality agreement, and procedure for reporting suspected instances of abuse and neglect.
3. Has knowledge of and complies with safety, sanitation, and the facilities infection control guidelines.
4. Works to ensure that the service recipient’s clothing is properly identified, accounted for, labeled and in good repair.
5. Assist Purchasing with administrative duties as assigned.
6. Assist and cover job duties of inventory control clerk when needed.
7. Auxiliary to, and understanding of, laundry and custodial services.
8. Willing and able to adhere to a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
9. Perform all other duties as assigned by Controller.
