Full Job Description We are a Manufacturer of Plastic Hose and Tubing located in Tampa in an 80,000 sq. ft. facility. We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to assist the Shipping & Receiving Manager . You’ll pick products and package onto a pallet as per order. The candidate must be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Must have a willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since some tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to properly fill and ship all orders each day. Must be able to interact with coworkers and drivers. Must be able to ensure all packages are packaged properly to maximize efficiency and maintain customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Load and unload trucks
• Completion of shipping paperwork
• Able to read and memorize part numbers
• Verify counts
• Maintain inventory counts
• Check esthetics of packaged products
Skills
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
