The ICG Wholesale Credit Risk - Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position that will be part of the ICG Wholesale Credit Risk Data Steward Team within ICG Credit Risk. Key focus areas for this role will be assisting with the development of data strategy for ICG Risk, implementing various data concepts and improving data quality to maximize data trustworthiness for risk management and reporting.
Subsequent to Consent Order, Citi has undertaken a significantly large and complex initiative of redefining its data strategy. As part of the new data strategy, each business is developing a data focused team to define and govern the data strategy and policies.  Additionally, as part of Wholesale Credit Risk target state model development, significant focus has been brought on developing a data strategy specifically for Credit Risk. The ICG Wholesale Credit Risk - Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position that will be part of the ICG Wholesale Credit Risk Data Steward Team within ICG Credit Risk. Key focus areas for this role will be assisting with the development of data strategy for ICG Risk, implementing various data concepts and improving data quality to maximize data trustworthiness for risk management and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Be part of the development and execution of a cohesive strategy, target state and multi-year plan for wholesale credit risk data, partnering with key members of Chief Data Office, Business, Credit Risk and Operations and Technology teams.
• Assist with development of specific action plans to improve data quality for ICG Credit Risk.
• Assist with identification and development of business rules and implementation of measurement framework for Critical Data Elements (CDEs). Assist with development of plans to improve quality of CDEs.
• Assist with development of a plan to identify and designate various data domains. Right place data domain ownership and improve quality of data in the domains.
• Drive analysis using data lineage tools to identify issues with data flows and develop plan to remediate them.
• Assist with development of and own remediation plans for specific regulatory and internal audit mandates related with data. Track regulatory deliverables related to data and technology.
Qualifications:
• 5+ year experience covering Credit Risk Management, Data initiatives and Technology.
• Good understanding of Banking products like Loans, Trade Finance and Capital Market products like Derivatives, Security Financing Transactions and others.
• Good understanding of technology development life cycle with track record of managing technology projects.
• Good understanding of Data Science and latest development in the field.
• Demonstrable experience of understanding large banks complex data infrastructure.
• Demonstrable experience of resolving issues related with multiple data flows, inconsistent data standards and multiple data warehouses.
• Experience of working with Data Visualization and Reporting Tools.
• Broad understanding of current regulatory environment covering BCBS 239, Part 30 and other regulatory requirements related with data.
• Superior Communication and Influencing skills.
• Analytical individual with ability to model data and draw conclusions.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with demonstrated experience in executing against tight deadlines and managing issue escalation.
• Ability to move between the detail and the strategic, providing quality content at both.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
